SOSMobile to facilitate connect/disconnect process
The Department of Public Utilities in Orangeburg, South Carolina was
searching for a way to streamline their connect/disconnect process. They found it with SOSMobile. Using hand-held devices, their field service personnel now know in real-time
if a customer scheduled for service disconnect has paid their bill.
This automation has not only saved them from hiring another dispatcher, it
has resulted in improved customer service.
Orangeburg has plans to continue adding order types to their mobile
workforce automation project.
