Midwest Energy chooses SOSRemote as Wireless Solution

In 2007, Midwest Energy, based in Hays Kansas, installed our SOSRemote module. As a longtime user of our SOSPalm product, Midwest Energy was looking for a solution that provided greater connectivity to their field personnel, without the steep price tag that comes along with other mobile applications. SOSRemote bridges the gap between the “always connected” requirements of SOSWebTech and the “never connected” flexibility of SOSPalm. Service personnel can download their scheduled orders when an Internet connection is available, but continue to work on the orders even when a connection is not available.

As of February 2009, 25 of Midwest's service techs are using SOSRemote with laptops, and 32 are using SOSPalm. They plan to add 21 more laptops with SOSRemote in 2009, dropping the number of SOSPalm users to 11.
